The customer is an Instrumentation
company specializing in the manufacture and sales of
a wide range of electronic measuring instruments for
automobiles. These instruments record the noise and
vibration produced by the automobile gear transmissions.
The reverberation is then analyzed in acoustic rooms
for optimization to permissible values. The customer
required a PC based system to analyze the data captured
by the measuring instruments.
EximSoft-Trianz developed a Windows based
application for downloading the captured data from a
given specimen to the PC. The application interfaces
with the instrument, acquires binary data and converts
into real data for determining the optimum reverberation
time. It also provides for 3-Dimensional graphical analysis
of the measured data. EximSoft-Trianz's engineers tested the
application in acoustic rooms at the customer's site,
helping the customer achieve optimized reverberation
levels.
